Disk Partitioning -- PartedMagic

I need your help with some partitioning, if you know what I mean. I have some things that need to be parted. And then I need something in between, but not too quickly. I think a Live CD would work. There's one called PartedMagic. It sounds like it should do the trick. I hear that sometimes it takes a few tries before everything fits together perfectly. And then magic happens, usually more than once. You're an expert after all.
